How do I add new materials to the EPD Generator, and what does it cost?
Adding new materials to the EPD Generator is free of charge as part of our services. To add a material, our support team needs details about the material itself and its supplier, which you'll provide using the attached Excel template.
Before you begin- You have the material code, material name, and material type category for each new material.
- You know the plant name(s) or region for the plants to be updated.
- You have the supplier's manufacturing address.
- You know the transportation modes and, if available, one-way distances from the supplier's manufacturing plant to your plant, including any pickups from a hub or terminal.
- Only filled out one of the two tabs? Both Materials and Suppliers need to be completed for the request to be processed.
- Not sure of the one-way distance from a supplier's plant to yours? You don't need to provide it — just include the transportation mode and we'll estimate the distance for you.
