For the supplier distances – what information do I need to include?
When providing supplier information, we need details about the supplier's manufacturing location and how materials travel from there to your plant, so we can calculate the correct one-way transportation distance and the corresponding impacts. Reach out to your project manager with this information.
Before you begin- You know the supplier name.
- You know the supplier's manufacturing plant name and manufacturing address.
- You know the transportation mode(s) from the supplier's manufacturing location to your plant, including any pickups from a hub or terminal.
- You have the one-way distance, if you'd like to provide it yourself.
- Not sure of the one-way distance from the supplier's location to your plant? You don't need to provide it – just include the transportation mode and we'll estimate the distance for you.
1. Provide the supplier name, manufacturing plant name, and manufacturing address.
2. Provide the transportation mode(s) from the supplier's manufacturing location to your plant, including any pickups from a hub or terminal.
3. You can either provide the transportation modes and we will estimate the distances for you, or you can provide the distances yourself using Google Maps or by reaching out to the supplier.
Expected resultWe will have everything needed to calculate the correct one-way supplier distance and the corresponding impacts for your material.
